INTRODUCTION TO SOLIDS
START IT RIGHT-GET IT RIGHT
Doctors advise delaying the introduction of solid foods until an infant reaches approximately 6 months of age. Commencing before 4 months is not advisable.
By the age of approximately 6 months, infants require the supplementary nourishment, such as iron and zinc, that is provided by solid meals.
